Hello my name is Mary Manzano and I am the lead speech/language pathologist at Manzano Speech Therapy. I have been a practicing speech/language pathologist for over 20 years. I earned my Masters of Science degree in 2002 from the University of Redlands, in California.

My goal has always been to EMPOWER clients through meaningful and engaging speech therapy services and hands-on learning labs.
My specialties includes
Early Intervention COMMUNICATION and traditional speech services!
I specialize in supporting parents of young children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or social communication challenges. I am certified in the Adapted Hanen program ~ More Than Words and take a family-centered approach.
I strive to equip parents with the tools and confidence they need to foster healthy, effective communication with their child. I am also a certified Happy Talk Song and Sign instructor. At Manzano Speech Therapy, we have over 20 years of experience providing speech therapy services to clients in a variety of settings, including schools, hospitals, and private practices. We have helped countless individuals improve their communication skills and achieve their goals.
Brief Overview
Manzano Speech Therapy (Manz Speech) is a resource dedicated to EMPOWERING children in developing healthy, effective communication through personalized family-centered communication coaching and hands-on labs. We also provide traditional speech therapy services such as receptive and expressive communication therapy, speech and phonology, feeding, and stuttering services. We now offer preventative services through Happy Talk Song and Sign. These classes might be called baby music classes, or toddler sign language classes, but at Manz Speech we feel they are entail both elements along with maximum speech-language enrichment.

Manz Speech provides quality speech therapy services. We have licenses to service clients in California, Alaska, Colorado, Idaho, Iowa, Oregon, and Washington state. Mary will initiate treatment sessions after the initial assessment and after specific goals are developed by both the client/caregiver and Mary.
Striving for Healthy, Effective Communication
Traditional Speech Therapy will focus on Receptive and/or Expressive Communication. We may work on stuttering, speech articulation, and/or speech phonology. Our goal is to increase your child's ability to effectively communicate to the best of their ability.
Speech Therapy services may be delivered through a secure telehealth connection. Many parents prefer this approach due to the fact that drive time to a clinic is reduced and the child fells more comfortable in the comfort of their own home.
Telepractice is a practical way for the child and parent to explore different approaches together with their therapist. Therapists enjoy providing therapy virtually, as communication and expectations for at home practice can be presented to the parents without any clinic disturbances.
Our therapists train and coach our parents on the many ways to increase the sensory, bonding, and verbal aspects of communication.
Our traditional speech therapy when provided virtually, brings communication relaxation and comfort therefore providing a stress-free type of therapy environment where learning is increased.
